Jadon Berkson just graduated Boston Latin School and is a dedicated advocate for equity and social change. He grew up in Boston’s South End and has long been engaged in addressing issues that affect his community, especially those at the intersection of housing and addiction.

Last summer, Jadon worked at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program, where he gained firsthand experience with the challenges faced by unhoused individuals and the systems designed to support them. This experience strengthened his commitment to public service and informed his leadership of SASMC, (Students Advocating Solutions for Mass and Cass) a student-led initiative focused on developing and promoting youth driven solutions to the humanitarian crisis in Boston’s Mass and Cass area.

At BLS, Jadon is a two-sport varsity athlete, excelling at both basketball and soccer.

Jadon will be attending Tulane University next year, where he hopes to continue combining his interests in advocacy, public policy, and service. Through Ward, he looks forward to exploring law and public service as a possible career path and learning how professionals in these fields address community issues on a systemic level.
