Israel Divers is a graduate of Boston Latin School’s Class of 2026 and a resident of Hyde Park. With a strong interest in public service, finance, and civic engagement, he has been involved in a variety of activities throughout high school, including serving as a Peer Mentor, Library Praefect, and writer for BLS VOTE. This fall, he will attend Bentley University to study Finance.
In the past, Israel volunteered at City of Boston community events, helped operate his family’s business, and worked as a Production Assistant for award-winning filmmaker Moses Sibley. He also completed multiple financial literacy programs that strengthened his knowledge of budgeting, investing, and personal finance.
This summer, Israel is excited to serve as a John William Ward Public Service Fellow in the Office of Mayor Michelle Wu, where he hopes to engage with Boston residents, learn more about municipal government, and contribute to meaningful public service.
