Chloe Trente Et un is a rising senior at Boston Latin School. She comes from a Haitian background, and was born and raised in Boston.

Over the past five years at Boston Latin School, Chloe has been an active member of the basketball, volleyball, and most recently, the track and field teams. Her favorite sport is volleyball, and she looks forward to continuing her fifth season with the team this fall. Additionally, Chloe is co-president of the Medical and Conditions Awareness Club at school, shedding light onto diseases that are frowned upon, showing solidarity and support for different groups of people. Along with these clubs Chloe is an active member of the Young Women of Color and Haitian Students Affinity group, aiming to find ways to connect and grow with her peers at school.  Chloe is deeply committed to her community and is especially passionate about serving in the health field.

She has interned with the Tufts University School of Medicine Dean’s Office and with The Pathway Initiative Inc., where she explored various STEM careers and gained insight into potential future paths. Currently, Chloe currently works with Heal Boston at Catholic Charities, helping distribute food packages and learning the importance of giving back to the community that shaped her.

Due to her passions for community, Chloe applied to Ward to see how she can have a direct impact on Mattapan and Dorchester, the neighborhoods she has grown up in. The dense Haitian population in these areas inspired Chloe to take action, finding new ways to guarantee them access to all the resources they need.

She values her community and family deeply and hopes to one day give back, as much as they have given to her, as she continues to grow and succeed, keeping God at the center of it all.
