Caitlin McGovern is a graduate of Boston Latin School, class of 2004. She is a member of the National Honor Society, a recipient of the William Devore, Open Gate Cogan, Pioneers, and Access scholarships, and a Ward Fellow.
She enjoys cross-country skiing, reading, hiking, and crafts. She also enjoys spending time with her dachshund Copper, her husky Jagger, and her cats Emma, Fou-fou, and India. She is an avid sport’s fan, especially for the Red Sox and Pats.
Her extracurricular activities at school included writing for the Argo, participating in Photography Club, and founding the Populi Primi club. She also contributed time to Student Council.
Caitlin will be attending the Commonwealth College of Honors Studies at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she will major in political science and legal studies.
She is a hard worker and has worked for Old North Church since she was 13, while also working for Blue Mesa Music as a production assistant, and although, she is presently a Ward Fellow, she’s also hostessing at Durgin Park and working at a local art gallery. Free time is spent babysitting Christopher and Nicky.
Caitlin is an optimist and is delightfully upbeat, honest, loyal and generous.
