Caitlin is a rising senior at Boston Latin School. She was born and raised in West Roxbury, where she attended Joyce Kilmer for elementary and middle school.

Gravitating towards the liberal arts through her love for reading and journaling, Caitlin knew from a young age that she wanted to study English in college.

Her dream of becoming a lawyer began in eighth grade when she participated in Discovering Justice through her US history class. Discovering Justice not only taught her collaboration, analysis, and public speaking skills, but it also sparked her passion for public service through law.

She hopes to give back to the community by working as a public defender and a district attorney. Experiencing both sides in a court will allow her to gain a better understanding of the judicial system as well as the inequalities it inevitably produces.

Outside of school, Caitlin spends her time editing manuscripts for a nonprofit, participating in archery tournaments at a national level, and trying new coffee places in Boston.
