John William Ward once said, “One must act as if one can make a difference,” and Darren Seto is eager to have an insightful experience in public service this summer with Rashaun Martin, the school district’s Acting Director of the Office of Recruitment, Cultivation, and Diversity Programs. At school, Darren has grown a special appreciation for learning. He serves as the co-founder of A Helping Tutor, an enrichment program that seeks to support students from his elementary school. He hopes to learn how to better serve his community by learning more about the education system and the city of Boston. Darren will be a senior at Boston Latin School in the fall.
